I decided
to try the new (old) HCG diet. For a few
reasons:
1) I’m fat
2) Okay, not nearly as fat as I used
to be, but I have gained 25 lbs in the past 2 years.
3) I really (really) want to be closer (or under) 200 lbs before I get
pregnant
4) I want to get pregnant
So I saved up some money and placed my order last Friday
morning, lucky for me they had a BOGO sale going on! I got 2 months worth of the stuff for the
price of 1! And if you must know, the cost of that “weight loss in a bottle”
was a whooping $99.
I got my order in today, so I will begin on Saturday. I know, a funny day to start a diet huh?
Well, the first two days of this diet are “high fat” days. So I figured I would have those over the
weekend so Ken and I can eat out a few times (ya know, pizza, chinese,
etc). Then it is on to 500 calorie diet,
1 piece of fruit for breakfast, lunch is 3.5oz of lean meat, reasonable portion
of certain veggies, and a piece of Melba toast, and supper is 3.5oz of a
different type of lean meat, reasonable portion of certain veggies, a piece of
fruit, and a piece of Melba toast, for the next 23 days. After that, for the next 21 days (3 weeks) I
will be on a low carb, no sugar 1,500 calorie diet to maintain, then I can
start again. You are supposed to lose
around 25lbs during the 26 days, so if all goes as planned, I should shed 50
lbs, and hopefully keep it off. If I can
manage that I will be under 200 for the first time in FOREVER!
I will keep this up during this time, and let you know how
it goes. I just need to remember the
voice in my head telling me I can’t do this is a LIAR!
